Salak Eco Trail Run (SETR) is more than just a trail running event—it’s a call to reconnect with nature. Held in the tropical rainforest ecosystem of Mount Halimun-Salak, the event is organized by the Javan Hawk Eagle Trail (JHET) with support from Yayasan Puter Indonesia, in celebration of Indonesia’s National Flora and Fauna Day.With the spirit of “Ego to Eco”, SETR encourages every participant to turn each step into meaningful action for environmental conservation, especially in protecting the habitat of the endangered Javan Hawk Eagle (Nisaetus bartelsi). This is a race that leads not only through forests—but toward a more conscious, sustainable future.
